Jane Langston - Managing Director and Teacher
Jane has been practitioner since 2000, and a Teacher of Amatsu since 2003, working with Active Balance Training Ltd and Amatsu UK Ltd with Dennis Bartram. Jane has taught in Hertfordshire (North West London), Hartlepool and Dublin, having been an assistant trainer since 2001. The Amatsu Training School was formed in 2005 and Jane has a proven track record of teaching to a high standard. She was a founder member of the Amatsu Therapy Association (ATA), and acts as an External Examiner for Amatsu Therapy International (UK) and is their Amatsu Ambassador. Jane's background as a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science (Haematology) gives her a good medical science background. She is fascinated by anatomy and physiology and how Amatsu Therapy works. Jane has gone on to co-author "Making Sense of Learning Human Anatomy and Physiology" with Earle Abrahamson (published by Lotus Publishing). They are currently writing their next book "Muscle Testing - A Concise Manual" which will be published by Handspring in Autumn 2019.
Gina Lilley - Lead Teacher for Year 1 and 2
Gina has been involved in complementary therapies for over 12 years initially working with massage then exploring reflexology, reiki, sports massage and ear candling. After discovering Amatsu at a Complementary Fair she was both fascinated and amazed at how it worked, getting to the root cause of a problem, rather than just appeasing the symptoms. She registered to train with Jane Langston's Amatsu Training School and after qualifying in 2010 has never looked back. Gina is now qualified to Shinden level and works from two busy clinics.and is now a Teacher under Jane’s mentorship with The Amatsu Training School, having passed PTLLS at level 3. Gina is a the Chair of Amatsu Therapy International (UK) and represents ATIUK on the General Council for Massage Therapies. Gina is the talented photographer that takes photographs for our website and our modules.
Mark Evans - Taijutsu Teacher
Based in Doncaster, Mark is an experienced Amatsu practitioner, having qualified in 2000 and has a very busy clinic. His 20 year background in Bujinkan, now as a ninth dan, gives him immense knowledge and prowess in movement skills. He has qualified in CTLLS and teaches the martial movement applications to Amatsu Soft Tissue Therapy.
Andras Handler - Teacher
Andras is an accomplished soft tissue therapist and Amatsu practitioner. He qualified in Amatsu in 2011 and went on to do an MSc in Soft Tissue Therapies at Middlesex University. Andras is also a personal trainer and combines his exercise knowledge with Amatsu Therapy treatments in clinic. He qualified as an Amatsu Soft Tissue Therapy teacher in 2017 and has helped The Amatsu Training School deliver the new curriculum in 2018.
Fiona Parker - Trainee Teacher
Fiona is an Amatsu Practitioner in St Albans and runs a busy clinic. She has also completed a course in Acupuncture for Pain and Soft Tissue Therapy. This has increased her knowledge base and she is now proceeding through the apprenticeship as an Amatsu Trainee Teacher, delivering some of the topics in class. And she does make exceedingly good cakes!
Stephan Grabner - Trainee Teacher
Stephan qualified in Amatsu Soft Tissue Therapy in 2017 and knew he wanted to go on and learn to teach. A natural "people person", Stephan is going through our Amatsu Trainee Teacher apprenticeship and is now delivering some of the topics in class. Stephan has a busy clinic in Abergavenny and Cardiff.
Gill Bough - Classroom Assistant
Gill is an experienced Amatsu Practitioner running her busy clinic from Chalton, Bedfordshire. She is an immense help to the teaching team, providing cups of tea or water whenever we get thirsty. She helps during practical sessions and keeps the classroom tidy and safe.
